Lovely staff Went there on 30 July and staff couldn't have been nicer to our dog. Friendly and warm people with excellent food. We had cheese and pickle toastie which was perfect, thick cheddar melted cheese and amazing onion pickle, with a tasty portion of salad and side crisps and then a well baked scone, jam and cream.... Strong decent coffee.... Outside they have a nice courtyard garden.... If only every cafe we went to was as good!

Great location for a cafe at either start, end or both of variety of walks in the area. COVID measures well in place. Friendly staff and good cream tea - asked for the scones to be warmed which they did and made all the difference. Good large cup of tea enjoyed sitting outside on the picnic benches. For funghi enthusiasts we found some great wax caps in the graveyard across the road. Would recommend the circular walk up Cochrane Pike

Being part of this amazing place.
